Why Trust Dr. Goyle with Your Recovery?

The Doctor Who Doesn’t Manage Pain – He Aims Heals It.

Cleveland Clinic Trained, Board Certified Anesthesia and Pain Management Physician.

As the Holistic Pain Doc, I believe pain often indicates deeper issues that call for a thorough, individualized plan—rather than simply masking symptoms with medication. My practice combines advanced methods and a whole-body perspective to help reduce discomfort, address the root causes of pain, and support your long-term well-being.

While some treatments focus only on short-term relief, our approach looks at joints as complete functional units and takes into account all supporting structures. We aim to help you find meaningful, lasting relief and maintain an active lifestyle.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Regenokine®?

Regenokine® is an autologous conditioned serum (ACS) therapy that processes your own blood to concentrate anti-inflammatory proteins, particularly Interleukin-1 Receptor Antagonist (IL-1Ra). These proteins may help modulate inflammatory responses in joints and soft tissues. The treatment was developed in Germany and gained attention when professional athletes like the late Kobe Bryant used it.

Regenokine® requires specific certification and training. Only nine physicians in the United States are certified to offer this treatment. Dr. Goyle is the only certified Regenokine® provider in Arizona, bringing this exclusive therapy to Scottsdale patients who would otherwise need to travel out of state or internationally.

Cortisone is a synthetic steroid that broadly suppresses inflammation. Regenokine® uses your own blood, processed to concentrate your body’s natural anti-inflammatory proteins. Rather than suppressing all inflammation, Regenokine® delivers concentrated IL-1Ra that may help rebalance the inflammatory environment in your joint. Additionally, repeated cortisone injections may have diminishing returns, while Regenokine® uses your own biological materials.

Each treatment has a different mechanism:

  • Regenokine® concentrates anti-inflammatory proteins (IL-1Ra) from your blood
  • PRP concentrates platelets and growth factors from your blood
  • BMAC (stem cell therapy) delivers mesenchymal stem cells plus growth factors from your bone marrow

All three are autologous (using your own biological materials). Dr. Goyle can discuss which approach—or combination—may be most appropriate for your situation.

Yes. In 2011, Kobe Bryant traveled to Germany for Regenokine® treatment for chronic knee issues. He was among several professional athletes who sought this therapy. His experience helped bring international attention to Regenokine® as an option for athletes and active individuals dealing with joint discomfort.

The body’s response to Regenokine® develops gradually over weeks to months. This isn’t a quick fix like cortisone—it’s supporting your body’s natural processes. Individual timelines vary, and not all patients experience the same degree of benefit. Dr. Goyle will discuss realistic expectations during your consultation.

Regenokine® is an autologous blood product—it uses your own blood processed the same day. The FDA regulates medical devices and drugs differently than autologous procedures. Dr. Goyle follows established protocols and uses your own biological materials, which eliminates concerns about third-party product quality or rejection risk.

Regenokine® requires out-of-pocket payment, as it’s not typically covered by insurance. The investment reflects the exclusivity of the treatment, Dr. Goyle’s specialized certification, and the comprehensive care you receive. During your consultation, we’ll discuss specific costs based on your treatment plan.

Yes. Depending on your situation, Dr. Goyle may recommend Regenokine® alone or in combination with other regenerative approaches like PRP or BMAC. He’ll evaluate your condition and goals to determine the most appropriate approach.

We focus on musculoskeletal conditions: joint discomfort (knee, hip, shoulder), spine-related issues (back pain, neck discomfort), and soft tissue concerns. Regenokine® is not appropriate for systemic conditions, neurological disorders, or advanced end-stage arthritis requiring joint replacement.
