Welcome to Integrated Spine, Pain and Wellness (ISPW) and my Pain Perspective News. I am the founder and medical director, Dr. Ashu Goyle. I am a double-board certified Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Management Specialist.
I completed my medical training at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic. After finishing my training I joined a private practice Pain Medicine group in Columbus, OH. During that year I came to the realization that I personally need copious amounts of sunshine for my overall wellbeing and health. I moved to the Valley of the Sun in the summer of 2008.
I began working in a private practice Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine group in the Fall of 2008. During my first year in Phoenix I performed Anesthesia services at the top-ranked Barrow Neurological Institute with some of the most extraordinary neurosurgeons in medicine. At the same time I was building my Pain Medicine practice, which is my true passion. After my first year in Phoenix, my pain practice grew to the point where I was able to transition into a full-time pain medicine practice.
Pain Perspective
During my nearly 13 years in private practice Pain Medicine, I learned to connect, communicate, and listen to patients on a deep and meaningful level, as well as make lasting relationships with referring providers and patients. Further, the confines of a traditional Pain Medicine practice did not offer the space to promote long-term wellness and healing, nor were there opportunities for cutting-edge nontraditional treatments that avoid the use of medications, narcotics or steroid injections. From this awareness grew the vision for my new practice.
As a medical expert in interventional and multimodal pain management, I have a special interest in applying the innovative field of regenerative medicine (stem cells) as well as nutrition therapy and lifestyle recommendations to help treat acute and chronic pain conditions. Driven by the belief that all patients are family, we here at ISPW strive to deliver compassionate, ethical and individualized patient care in a welcoming and relaxed environment.

Treatments include spinal injections, radiofrequency ablation, neuromodulation (spinal cord stimulator), musculoskeletal and joint injections, as well as nutritional support and regenerative medicine therapies. We also offer aesthetic skincare treatments to restore youthful radiance and reverse the signs of aging, sun damage and scarring.

Injection treatments are performed primarily under image guidance utilizing our brand new fluoroscopy (X-Ray) machine and our top-of-the-line ultrasound machine. Aesthetic services are provided by our highly skilled and qualified cosmetologist, Nicolle.

Dr. Ashu Goyle is a double board-certified, fellowship-trained anesthesiologist and interventional pain specialist. His Pain Medicine Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic afforded him the unique opportunity to not only train at one of the nation’s top hospitals and teaching institutions but also with the world’s leaders in pain medicine. While at Cleveland Clinic he received extensive training in acute and chronic pain management.
